Rides start at $8 then increase depending on distance

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Carpooling service Shuddle is launching a new service to help out busy parents and guardians.

Customers can become a Shuddle member by paying $9 a month.  From there customers can schedule rides starting at $8.  The cost increases depending on distance, but a person is not charged by how long it takes to get to the destination.

Shuddle drivers have to go through interviews, background checks, DMV records check before becoming a driver.  The person must also have references Shuddle can contact when applying.

According to Shuddle's website, a parent or guardian can track the child's journey to their destination using the app.
