MASCOTTE, Fla. – A Lake County sheriff's deputy investigating an armed home invasion shot and killed a suspect, WKMG-TV in Orlando reported.
The fatal shooting occurred Tuesday morning in the area of Stuckey off Highway 50 near Mascotte.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to an armed home invasion robbery in the early morning hours.
One person was shot dead, but no deputies were injured, the Sheriff's Office said.
Two other suspected intruders remain on the loose, according to deputies.
No other details have been released.
