JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - When you're out shopping this week, please pick up a toy for the Channel 4 Toy Drive.
We're collecting for the Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville.
On Dec. 6, you can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at our studio on 4 Broadcast Place. The party helps children in need and will be held at the Prime Osborne Convention Center on Dec. 15.
Your donation will bring a lot of smiles to the children in our community.
The Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville is a nonprofit organization.
Free toys will be given to children 12 years old and younger at the event. There is no registration. It's first-come, first-served.
Children get three tickets that can be exchanged for toys. Some of the tickets are randomly stamped for a bicycle.
Throughout the year, money is donated by local companies and individuals to help the Children's Christmas Party of Jacksonville buy toys in bulk. The more you donate will make sure there are enough toys for all the children who attend the party.
