While dental work is an important part of staying healthy, it's often the first thing people skip when money is tight.
A local dentist office is reaching out to help people who don't have the money in a program they call "Dentistry from the Heart."
This Saturday, Carlson Dentistry Group is offering free dental care to anyone 18 and older who needs it on Saturday morning. You get your choice of a leaning, filling or extraction.
Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and encourage anyone who wants to be seen to get there before noon.
The office is located at 13241 Bartram Park Blvd., unit 1700.
