JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A convicted felon is back behind bars and facing another 40 years in prison after being convicted of beating and sexually assaulting a woman he knew.
According to police, 53-year-old Antonio Wade Knight went to the home of a woman he knew, slammed her into a bathtub, pushed her down on a bed and touched her in a sexual manner.

Officials said Knight then hit the victim in the face with a gun before he fled from the home.
Knight was convicted of felony domestic battery, sexual battery, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Court records show that Knight now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 40 years in prison as a habitual offender. He will be sentenced the week of Aug. 31.
