Couple charged with making, baking, selling drugs

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A couple in Flagler County with a love of baking is behind bars after deputies raided their home, finding drugs, marijuana muffins and a butter maker with marijuana in it.

Wednesday the Flagler County Sheriff's Office special investigations unit, along with the Flagler Beach Police Department and the Sheriff's Department SWAT team, raided a home on 26th Street while serving a search warrant over the illegal use and distribution of narcotics.

According to officials, police arrested 24-year-old Christian Jacob Way and 18-year-old Katrina Lyn Farmer after finding 530 grams of marijuana, three live plants with a ballast light and an irrigation system, LSD, Ecstasy, cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the master bedroom.

When police went in to the kitchen they found baked muffins and chocolate filled with marijuana, hash oil and a machine used to make butter, still running, with marijuana in it.

Both Way and Farmer were charged with possession of LSD, possession of MDMA, cultivation of cannabis, possession of hashish, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of cultivation paraphernalia and possession of paraphernalia. Way also received an additional charge of possession of cocaine, and both were booked into the Flagler County Detention Facility.
