MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – Clay County Sheriff's Office dive teams were searching for a man who went missing in Black Creek Thursday evening.
The man was on a boat with friends when he went into the water, according to Clay County Sheriff's Office spokesman Mary Justino.

Search teams were operating out of the Main Street Boat Ramp but had to suspend the search around 10 p.m. due to weather and dark conditions, but planned to resume the search Friday morning.
CCSO deputies and officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission helped with the search and the investigation has been handed over to FWC.
Justino told News4Jax that crews are concerned about heavy storms affecting the search.
