ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Two men stole $1,600 in clothing items from a Puma outlet in St. Augustine earlier this month, deputies said.

A clerk at the store, located in the St. Augustine Premium Outlets on State Road 16, told deputies the men came in March 6, selected 26 items and then left the store without paying.

The clerk said he'd never seen the men before.

He didn't report the theft until last Friday and said he had to wait until after the corporate manager had made a copy of the surveillance video.

The clerk said the store doesn't want to press charges but wants a trespass warning issued for the two men.

The deputy investigating the theft said a trespass warning can't be issued until the two men are identified.
