The woman told police that she was leaving her home when she noticed her garbage can had been placed behind her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway.

The woman went to move the garbage can when an unknown man approached her from behind, placed a gun to her head and put his hand on her mouth, police said. The man told the woman not to scream and forced her to the backyard of her residence.

The man asked the woman for money and then took her purse and searched it but did not take any of her belongings, police said.

At gunpoint, the man then made sexual advances toward the woman before running away, police said.

The only description the woman was able to provide was that the man was 5 feet, 9 inches tall and had a deep voice.

Investigators said a vehicle in the area before the incident might be involved, and police are currently searching for the 2015 silver Nissan Rogue, displaying Florida tag EWGD71. The vehicle (similar to the one pictured) was reported stolen on Sept. 25. Police announced Oct. 19 that they are still looking for the vehicle.

Anyone with any information on the incident or the location of the Nissan is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
