Police: Man shot in Arlington

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot Wednesday morning in the Arlington area of Jacksonville, police said.

The shooting was reported at 10:20 a.m. on Justina Terrace, a few blocks from Jacksonville University.

Police said when officers arrived they found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound.

A witness told News4Jax the man was shot twice in the head at the Eagle Point Apartments. He was alive but in bad shape, the witness said.

Police said the man was rushed to UF Health Jacksonville was in stable condition.

The witness said the suspect ran off after shooting the man during an argument over $100.

Police said no suspect information was available.
