Detectives say woman was shot after argument in parking lot next to McDonald's

Police want to question this person seen walking away after a woman was shotnear the University Boulevard North McDonald's.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are asking for help finding a woman they believe was dressed as a man when she fired into a car near the Arlington McDonald's on Sunday night, killing a 26-year-old woman.

Marvette Littles was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center by friends after the 9:30 p.m. shooting, where she died.

Detectives released a surveillance photo of the person they believe to be the shooter walking away after the shooting. Witnesses describe her as being dressed as a man and possibly walking with a slight limp.

Police said the shots followed an argument in the parking lot next to the McDonald's.

"There was some type of verbal altercation, the witnesses heard a shot, and then we had a victim show up at Shands," Sgt. Jay Farhat said after the shooting.
