CVS robber sought by police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify a man they said robbed a CVS on the Westside on Friday morning.

Police said the man went into the store in the 5900 block of Normandy Boulevard just before 7 a.m., walked up to the counter, placed a bag on the counter, and demanded money while armed with a black handgun. An employee put money in the bag and the robber ran away.

The robber is described as a black man, 20-30 years old and 5 feet 10 or 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was wearing a black derby hat with a white band around the hat, green bandana around his mouth, dark blue sweater, gray sweatpants, and distinctive green and white tennis shoes.
