YULEE, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a deadly accident on Chester Road, just off State Road 200 between Yulee and Amelia Island.
The accident was reported about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan was heading North on Chester Road when it hit a pedestrian walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where she later died.
