Delivery car lands on parked vehicles

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a silver 2011 Honda CRV was going north on Blanding Boulevard attempting to turn left on Suzanne Avenue. Troopers say Henry Joseph Beaudon, 86, of Middleburg, failed to yield to a blue 2001 Volvo S40 that was going south on Blanding.

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – No one was injured Saturday afternoon when a pizza delivery car traveled off an embankment and onto parked vehicles in a restaurant parking lot.

The incident happened at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant on Blanding Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a silver 2011 Honda CR-V was headed north on Blanding Boulevard and attempted to turn left onto Suzanne Avenue. At the same time, a blue 2001 Volvo S40 was traveling south on Blanding Boulevard in the center lane, approaching the intersection.

Investigators said the front of the Honda hit the driver's side of the Volvo, causing the Volvo to travel off the roadway and over an embankment.

A total of four vehicles were damaged. No one was inside any of the parked cars.
