Deputies arrest 2nd child porn suspect in as many days

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A 30-year-old St. Johns County man was arrested Tuesday on 10 counts of possession of child pornography following the serving of a search warrant at his home.

William Leonard Jr. was booked into the St. Johns County jail without bail pending a first appearance hearing Wednesday morning.

Detectives with the Sheriff's Office Cyber Crimes Unit said they received information through that Leonard was in possession of child pornography. A second search warrant in as many days was obtained by detectives and they served that warrant Tuesday morning.

Detectives said they found child pornography on Leonard's computer.

On Monday, a 43-year old St. Johns County man was arrested on five counts of possession of child pornography. Sean Eckstein remains in the St. Johns County jail with bail set at $25,000.

Over the last two and a half years, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said it has arrested more than 50 people on child exploitation charges ranging from possession of child pornography to traveling to St. Johns County in the belief that they were meeting a minor for sex, including three special operations.
