CRESCENT CITY, Fla. – The TD Bank in Crescent City was robbed Saturday morning by a man disguised with shaving cream, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said.

Although the man did not display a gun, he had a towel wrapped around his hand indicating he had a weapon, deputies said.

No one was injured during the incident.

The robber is described as a tall, slender black man, wearing blue jeans and a black and white windbreaker with a hood up over his head. The man had some type of white cream on his face resembling shaving cream, deputies said.

The man reportedly walked up to a bank employee, shoved a bag across the counter and demanded that the employee put money in the bag.

The bank employee told deputies that after the man retrieved the bag of money, he ordered the employee, as well as a second person working the drive through window, to lie on the floor while he walked out of the bank and south on Summit Street.

The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
