According to the Sheriff's Office, detectives with the Cyber Crimes Unit began investigating earlier this week when the parents of a female juvenile reported an encounter between their daughter and Hennenberger.

The two had started talking on an internet commerce site and then met in person Wednesday in St. Johns County, investigators said.

Detectives said they then started to act as the girl and set up another meeting Thursday with Henneberger.

When Henneberger arrived at the location, he was taken into custody by Special Victims Unit detectives, the Sheriff's Office said.

Henneberger was booked into the St. Johns County Jail after questioning and will make his first appearance in court Friday morning.
