Deputies: Missing businessman's body in Orange County pond
43-year-old man last seen leaving hotel early Thursday, found Saturday morning
Orange County deputies say they have recovered the body of missing British businessman, Simon Latham.
Deputies said Latham, 43, was visiting from South Korea to attend a conference at an Orlando hotel with his brother-in-law and about a dozen other people. He was last seen leaving the lounge at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando at 1 a.m. Thursday.
Latham had not contacted his family and had not retrieved his belongings from the hotel and also missed his flight back to South Korea at 7 a.m. on Friday.
Latham's body was discovered around 8 a.m. Saturday in a retention pond on the resort property. Williamson says Latham's brother-in-law was walking around the property and called authorities when he spotted the body.
An autopsy is pending. Detectives do not suspect foul play.
