Deputies seek credit card theft suspect

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man in connection with using a stolen credit card to purchase a gift card early last month.

According to reports, shortly before noon on March 5, the man used the victim's stolen credit card to buy a $500 gift card from a State Road 13 North Walmart Neighborhood Market.

The female victim didn't know the credit cards had been stolen from her wallet until one of the cards was used that day.

The man (pictured above in surveillance footage) is described as light skinned with a goatee, wearing a white baseball hat with the University of North Carolina Tar Heels light blue NC on the hat. He was also wearing a black/grey camouflage hoodie jacket, grey plaid shorts and black sneakers.
