Deputies: Teen shot in Flagler County

PALM COAST, Fla. – The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the L-section of Palm Coast that left an 18-year-old critically injured with gunshot wounds to his abdomen.

The teenager was flown by Flagler County's FireFight rescue helicopter to UF Health Jacksonville with life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred on Lewisdale Lane near Lewis Drive after witnesses said a group of males was observed fighting outside a home just before 4 p.m. The victim was found in the roadway.

It's unclear who the shooter was as deputies received reports that two vehicles were involved in the incident, including a vehicle that had been reported stolen Monday from Palm Coast. This vehicle has been located in the 40 block of Bunker Hill Drive in Palm Coast.
