They told deputies their adopted daughter, Megan Boyle, Florida had moved out of the home earlier in the month. Deputies said a neighbor reported seeing Boyle leaving the home and later discovered the home had been burglarized.

Deputies said multiple items were taken from the home, including a Kel-Tec 9mm handgun, Winchester 12 gauge shotgun, miscellaneous jewelry items, two flat-screen Tvs, Nintendo Wii and power tools. The items are valued at $6,700.

Investigators said Boyle pawned several of the items at Leah's Pawn Shop and Palm Coast Pawn and Jewelry. Deputies said they linked her to the crime and she was arrested Wednesday on charges of armed burglary, grand theft from a dwelling, two counts of dealing in stolen property and two counts of false verification of ownership.

Boyle is being held at the Flagler County Detention Facility on a $19,500 bond.
