JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Continuing our series reviewing child care facility inspection reports, News4Jax found seven local day cares with violations, most involving improper records.
The Department of Children and Families provided 20 reports to News4Jax to review this week. Of those, 13 were fully compliant. Three of the non-compliant facilities had two violations and four had only one violation each.

Little Blessings Academy on West 30th Street had two violations regarding missing documentation for personnel. One was corrected at the time of the inspection, and a deadline was given to correct the other.
The Red School House on Fifth Avenue North had two violations related to improper medical records for its children. Deadlines were given to correct both violations.
First Journey Learning Center on Parkwood Street had two documentation violations, but both were corrected at the time of inspection.
The lone violation for both All Around the Clock Academy on Arlington Road North and The Heir Christian Academy and Daycare on Dunn Avenue involved documentation issues. All Around the Clock corrected its violation during the inspection, and Heir Christian Academy was given a deadline to correct its violation.
ABC Christian Learning Academy on Yukon Road had one violation about incomplete personnel training, and Chappell Schools on Riverplace Boulevard had one violation about an unsafe toy. Both were corrected during their inspections.

- Infants and Toddlers University Child Care Center of Arts on North Pearl Street
- St. Paul Catholic Preschool on 1st Avenue North
- Ft. Caroline Baptist Academy on McCormick Road
- Unique Childcare and Learning Academy on Soutel Drive
- Community Connections of Jacksonville on East Duval Street
- First Baptist Junior Academy on West Ashley Street
- Lutheran Services Florida Ft. Caroline Elementary Head Start on Athore Drive
- Happy Feet Childcare on Lem Turner Road
- Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran School on Southside Boulevard
- T's Learning Center III on Baymeadows Road
- Audrey's Angels on Lueders Avenue
- Bethlehem Lutheran Preschool on 8th Avenue North in Jacksonville Beach
