JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Thousands made their was to the fairgrounds the past week and a half, and Sunday is the last day to experience the fun.
"We have had wonderful weather," said Gayle Hart, VP of marketing. "We've had wonderful entertainment, the crowds have been terrific and we had great specials a lot of fair foods, a lot of shows people love to see, so it was good all the way around."
Aside from the fair going on, the Jaguars are host their first home game in a month, meaning lots of downtown traffic.
"Traffic is really going to be a problem, but since we're Jacksonville people, we will get through it, we always do, as long as they keep the Mathews Bridge open, we will be fine," said Taunya Teahjay.
The Mathews Bridge will be open and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has some advice to anyone traveling downtown on Sunday.
Fans should find out where they park before going to the game. Cross the bridge into downtown that's closest to your parking space, not the bridge most convenient from where you started
JSO also suggested paying attention to sign boards that will direct you into the appropriate lanes for designated lots.
Hart says if drivers explore options, parking and getting around downtown should go smoothly.
"It will be a challenge, so you have to be creative," said Hart. "You have to shuttle, you have to have people drop you off."
