JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A number of Florida's public universities have made a list of the best values among public colleges.
One of them, the University of Florida, is near the top of the list.

Florida ranked third on the list from Kiplinger's Personal Finance for the second year in a row. The list looks at the quality of education, as well as the economic value.
At less than $17,000 a year, UF had the lowest in-state cost of any school in the top 10.
New College of Florida in Sarasota ranked 11th. Florida State University ranked 19th.
The University of Central Florida ranked 42nd. The University of South Florida was 55th.
And the University of North Florida made the list at No. 64.
The University of Georgia ranked 10th.
