JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The two candidates for House District 13 came together for a forum, Monday evening, at the Johnson Family YMCA in Northwest Jacksonville.
Republican Mark Griffin and Democrat Tracie Davis both answered questions about what they can do for the community, addressing their platforms.

Speaking after the forum, Davis said one concern to her is the appearance of the ballot.
"They're definitely familiar with my name," Davis said. "But with the ballot being the way it is and due to certain circumstances, Representative Fullwood had to pull out of this race. However, his name is still on the ballot. So I want my voters to know they are voting for Tracie Davis."
Davis' comment comes at a point of high tension in the race, following the resignation of Representative Fullwood from his position. Fullwood has pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges.
Davis, who finished second in the August 30th primary, replaced Fullwood as a nominee in the race for the House seat.
