Family asks for help finding missing man

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The family of a 52-year-old man is asking for the community's help finding him after he disappeared from Baptist Hospital early last week.

Frank Brown's family is concerned because he is supposed to be on medication and likely doesn't have the medicine with him.

Brown is described as a black man, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Brown was released from Baptist on June 3, but never returned home.

His mother said she was waiting for him in the lobby of the hospital, but he never showed up.

The family said Brown is mentally disabled and is prone to seizures. He was at Baptist because of a seizure.

Brown lives alone, and a neighbor said his disability check has not been cashes.

Police efforts to find Brown have been unsuccessful.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the JSO non-emergency line at 904-630-0500.
