Fans injured in Ohio stadium collapse

Fans fell from rafters, few injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A dozen fans fell three to four feet onto the field when a railing on the bleachers collapsed at an Ohio stadium.

It happened at Bud Acus Stadium in Sycamore Township, Ohio during a middle school football game.

Witnesses said fans were seen falling from the railing when it gave way right before half-time.

The railing gave way at the base, according to police. 

Some were transported to local hospitals for injuries, but none were severe.
