The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public's assistance in finding additional victims of a man who was arrested and charged with repeated sexual abuse of a minor.
Joseph Anthony Caracciolo, also known as Joseph Crillo, Joseph Grillo and Tony Gallard, was charged by the U.S. Attorney's Office on Aug. 30 with traveling in interstate commerce for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with a person younger than 18.
Caracciolo, who may have lived in the Orlando, Boca Raton and Palm Beach areas in the early to mid-1990s, is believed to have traveled extensively through New York, New Jersey and Virginia from approximately May 2012 to August 2012 to sexually abuse a girl younger than 13 at the time of the abuse. He is also to believed to have traveled through Connecticut and California.
Caracciolo is a registered sex offender in the national Sex Offender Public Website, but since 2005 has been in violation of the registration requirements.
Caracciolo has allegedly represented himself to be a chef, pediatric dentist, business owner, sales-person and electrician's assistant, along with claiming to suffer from cancer, investigators said.
