State troopers confirmed officer Amy Coarsey was the driver.

They said Coarsey was traveling south on SR 13 when her vehicle went off the right side of the roadway.

Coarsey attempted to come back onto the road but over-corrected, which overturned the car.

She was taken to Baptist Medical Center South but was released.

FHP officials said they do not believe alcohol was a factor.

Coarsey has been administratively reassigned to JSO's Tele-Serve Unit pending the outcome of an investigation by the highway patrol.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it'll conduct its own investigation to determine if any policies or procedures were violated.
