Driver identified in deadly crash on I-95

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol has identified a driver who was killed in an accident on Interstate 95 near the Nassau County border this evening.

Troopers said Cynthia Love, 51, of St. Marys, was heading north about 4:20 p.m. when she lost control just pasted the Pecan Park Road exit. According to the FHP report, Love over-corrected and her Nissan SUV overturned several times.

Love was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. There were no other occupants of the SUV.

Love was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.

Northbound traffic was diverted off Interstate 95 for several hours while the Florida Highway Patrol investigated and cleared the fatal crash.
