MAYPORT, Fla. – Residents of three units in a Mayport apartment were displaced after a fire Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to the apartment in the 1100 block of Songbird Lane about 1:30 p.m.

The fire appeared to be electrical in nature.
No one was injured, and firefighters had to deal with the heat outside.
The Red Cross is assisting the residents.
