Fire Rescue investigates 'suspicious' Westside trailer fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An investigation is underway into a "suspicious" trailer fire that happened on the Westside Friday night, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

Fire rescue responded about 8 p.m. to the trailer fire on Normandy Boulevard at Bilodeau Court.

Fire Rescue said the fire started in the yard and then spread to the trailer. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

The trailer was used for storage, so no one was living in it, officials said.

The cause of the fire is being investigated as suspicious, according to officials.
