Flagler deputies search for 87-year-old Palm Coast woman

PALM COAST, Fla. – Deputies are asking for the public's help in finding an elderly Palm Coast woman.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said it received a call at 4:26 p.m. Friday from a family member who said Marie Ruggiero had not been seen since leaving her home to obtain a tag for her pet at Palm Coast City Hall at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Ruggiero was last seen driving a four-door gray 2008 Nissan Sentra (similar to car pictured, below) with Florida tag number 373-LMH.

Although no medical issues are known, Ruggiero was also reported missing May 11 while operating a vehicle, deputies said. She was found without incident in Martin County.

Flagler deputies have contacted the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and have asked for a Silver Alert to be generated.

Ruggiero lives in the "U" section of Palm Coast, deputies said.

Ruggiero was last seen wearing shorts of unknown color and a shirt. Deputies said she is 5 feet 2 inches tall and is described as being very thin.

Anyone with information of Ruggiero's whereabouts is asked to contact the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
