Flagler detectives search for credit card thief

PALM COAST, Fla. – Flagler County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a theft that occurred on June 15 in the parking lot of 145 Cypress Point Pkwy in Palm Coast.

The victim said she left her 2004 Lexus RX300 SUV in the parking lot at 10 a.m. and when she returned to the car later that same evening, she realized someone had broken into the car and had taken almost everything from inside.

Various items were reported stolen, including a laptop computer, office supplies, wallets, cash, gift cards and credit cards. The total estimated value of the stolen items is $3,500.

The credit cards were then used or attempted to be used at various convenience stores in Palm Coast, Flagler Beach and at a Walmart in St. Augustine. Surveillance footage obtained during the investigation shows a man leaving the Walgreens at 5000 East State Road 100 in Palm Coast after making a purchase with the victim's credit card.

The suspect is described as a white man with short blond hair, possibly dyed. The suspect was last seen wearing a white short sleeved, buttoned-front shirt, untucked with khaki shorts and white Nike shoes with a black emblem. He was also wearing a bracelet on his right wrist.
