OVIEDO, Fla. – Four people were injured Monday when a concrete floor fell at a construction site in Oviedo near the University of Central Florida, according to officials.
The collapse happened around 9:30 a.m. along Lockwood Boulevard not far from UCF's football stadium.

According to Seminole County fire officials, two construction workers were trapped under the slab, which fell about 15 feet while it was being lowered. The workers, one of whom suffered head, neck and shoulder injuries, were taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Two other workers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Video from Local 6 helicopter Sky 6 showed police tape surrounding the building and several emergency vehicles were at the scene.
UCF said it does not own the property, nor is it overseeing the project, which includes a 600-bed student housing facility scheduled to open in the fall of 2013. UCF is slated to provide housing management and marketing services for the project.
"Our thoughts are with those who were injured, and we hope they experience a complete recovery," UCF said in a statement.
Finfrock Construction, the company in charge of the project, also released a statement about the accident.
"We pay a lot of attention to safety and engineering and we are very concerned about how this happened and concerned for the family of those who were injured," Robert Finfrock said.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been called to investigate the incident.
