Fire department warns residents about telephone scam

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – Macclenny Fire Rescue is warning residents about a telephone scam.

Fire rescue posted a message on its Facebook page telling residents to ignore calls about donation requests for the department. The department said it has not authorized a group or agency to request donations on its behalf.
