His sister said he's able to wiggle the toes on his left foot and has minimal movement. His right leg is still so swollen that he can't move it at all and has limited sensation.

Craig's sister said friends have been visiting him, and those visits really lift his spirits.

Craig says, "Thank you for all the support, it is truly amazing and is what has kept me trucking along."

On Thursday, Craig hopes to leave for the Shepherd Center, which treats people with spinal cord and brain injuries, so he can work on building up his strength and movement.

The crash that injured Craig killed 14-year-old Jordan Sommise. She died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, 17-year-old Austin Kight, was hurt, but was released from the hospital not long after the crash.
