HAMPTON, Fla. – Nine people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Friday night in Hampton, the Bradford County Sheriff's Office said.
The crash was reported about 7:30 p.m. at U.S. 301 and County Road 221. The jaws of life had to be used to rescue two people.

Deputies said a helicopter transported several people to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
Alachua County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and the Florida Highway Patrol was called to investigate.
