ORANGE PARK, Fla. - Orange Park Police said they found materials used to make methamphetamine inside a motel Sunday.
Chief of police Gary Goble said officers responded to an anonymous complaint of a chemical smell coming from the Roadway Inn on Park Ave.
Police said a Clay County Sheriff's Office K-9 alerted to Room 165 and the people in the room consented to a search.
Goble said items commonly used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine were found in the room, but there was no active manufacturing going on.
