The fire involved a lake bed that was the site of the previous Caribbean Circle fire in March of 2012. The Caribbean Circle fire grew to 150 acres and one home was lost.

No firefighters were injured or structures damaged Monday, and the fire was under control at 12:47 p.m.

The cause of the fire, which is estimated to be between 5 and 7 acres, is under investigation by the Florida Forest Service.

Fire officials urge every resident to be mindful of debris fires, follow all forestry rules and never leave a fire unattended.
