CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – It's unclear how long it will take Clay County personnel to repair damage to Henley Road caused during a road-widening project near the bridge.
Two southbound lanes on the road have been closed between Rideout Lane and Asbury Trace since April 8, and the closure is causing headaches for drivers in Lake Asbury and Green Cove Springs.

Clay County Emergency Management officials said they noticed slight movement occurring with the retaining wall along Henley Road.
Officials said they've been monitoring the issue since last summer, but recently noticed the wall's movement was causing some roughness in the roadway, which was closed for the safety of drivers while a solution is sought.
Emergency Management officials said they understand it's an inconvenience, but assure travelers that the county is working diligently to develop the proper solution in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
