Court rejects rehearing in UF guns case

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A state appeals court this week turned down a request for a rehearing in a lawsuit that has sought to overturn a University of Florida ban on guns in residence halls and other university housing.

The 1st District Court of Appeal on Monday denied the request from the group Florida Carry Inc., which challenged the ban, according to an online docket.
