Jonathan's uncle Leroy Sabb told News4Jax that his nephew loved sports, people and was a lively person.
"I see it as a negative and a positive. I'm glad we can come together, unite when there isn't any violence going on and pray that Jonathan's death wasn't in vain. He brought life to this world and he'll leave light behind him. Hopefully these young guys will get it together and we'll stop all the killing and the violence," Sabb said.
If you have any information about the shooting death that can help police, call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
