GOP voters more excited than democrats

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Ten States hold primary elections on Super Tuesday. The largest being Georgia with 76 delegates.

According to a new poll Republicans are more enthusiastic about voting than ever before. That is important because party hopes to gain a lot of momentum going into Super Tuesday, with more than 400 delegates at stake.

The Poll from Gallup showed 53% of Republican voter are more enthusiastic about voting this year compared to 45% of Democrats who feel the same way. With Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum locked in a tight race, voters said their excitement is fueled by the possibility of a new president.

"Well it's a big election year, there is just a lot at stake. So I think this election could be an important turning point for the direction of the country." said Jeff McNeil, a local voter.

With so many delegates at stake, voters hoped that one clear leader will emerge after Super Tuesday.
