Police search for Wells Fargo bank robber

Surveillance cameras capture suspect holding up Jacksonville bank

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police said a man robbed a Lakeshore bank Saturday morning after saying he had a gun and demanding money.

Investigators say a man wearing a blacked hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a Boston Red Sox baseball cap told the teller at the Wells Fargo branch at 4206 San Juan Ave. he had a gun and asked for money.

Witnesses said he then ran away from the bank.

Police describe the man as a white male, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, dark hair and a mustache.
