JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Northbound traffic on the Dames Point Bridge was blocked for hours Thursday morning after a crash, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Shortly after 6 a.m., both the Florida Highway Patrol and Jacksonville police responded to a crash with injuries in the northbound lanes of I-295 at the Dames Point Bridge.

All northbound lanes were initially blocked, but by 8 am., only the left lane was blocked, but delays remained in the area.
Details of the accident were not released at the scene.
