FHP: Driver falls asleep, 4-vehicle wreck on I-95

Woman charged with careless driving, driving with suspended license

PALM COAST, Fla. – A woman fell asleep while driving on Interstate 95 in Palm Coast early Saturday morning, causing a four-vehicle wreck, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Kelly Frazier, 20, of Palm Coast was headed northbound on I-95 behind a tractor-trailer combination truck at around 2:25 a.m. when she possibly fell asleep. Frazier drove her Ford Focus into the back of the trailer, causing her car to stall out.

The driver of the tractor-trailer left the scene after the crash, FHP said. A third vehicle, another tractor-trailer, came upon Frazier's disabled car and veered sharply to the left to try and avoid the Focus at the last second. The tractor-trailer then turned over trying to avoid a guardrail.

The driver of the third vehicle, Martin Seneosacarlos, 48, of North Miami Beach and his passenger, Gregory Wright, 39, of Boynton Beach, were taken to Florida Hospital Flagler with minor injuries.

Finally, a fourth tractor-trailer, driven by Furman Craft, 44, of Miami, came upon the scene, hitting debris leftover from the accident, causing disabling damage to its steering. Craft, and his passenger, Christopher Deselms, 51, of Lake Worth, were not injured.

Frazier was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler with minor injuries and is charged with careless driving, driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with no insurance.
