Free admission is first come, first served, with the park opening at 10 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. Gates will be closed if the park gets to full capacity.

In addition to free tickets, parking is also free on Wednesday.

Tickets for the Holy Land Experience are usually $50.

Every year, the religious-themed park is required to offer one day of free admission in order to qualify for a property tax exemption that saves the attraction hundreds of thousands of dollars. The last free day was in January 2014.

In years past, guests in line who couldn't get in because the park was filled to capacity were given vouchers for free admission at another time.
