Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - "It's a Small World" is a catchy tune that easily gets stuck in your head and known to anyone who has ever visited the 'Happiest Place on Earth,' Disney World.  

The iconic song is celebrating a huge milestone by turning 50 this year.

In honor of the anniversary, Disney parks worldwide are hosting a global sing-along Thursday. 

Throughout the day tributes of the song will be held at the Magic Kingdom.

According to the Associated Press, Disney also created a website.  It's a chance for you or a group of friends to sing the "It's a Small World" tune and post it on the site. 

The song first made its debut at New York World's Fair in 1964 along with the attraction. It wasn't until 1971 that the attraction opened in Florida.
