FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Police have arrested a woman who they say got away after driving under the influence causing a wrong-way crash.
Police say Kayla Mendoza, 21, tweeted about being drunk before the crash.
Authorities say the November wrong-way crash on a South Florida expressway killed two other women.
Police charged Mendoza in the deaths of Kaitlyn Ferrante and Marisa Cantronio while driving under the influence, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.
Police say Mendoza tweeted "2 drunk 2 care" before the crash. They say she also made references to marijuana and bongs.
Police have also charged her with driving without a license causing death and vehicular homicide.
